Taylor Swift Breaks Silence on Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni Case

Taylor Swift’s Connection to the Case

Many fans were surprised when Taylor Swift was mentioned in the legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over the film adaptation of It Ends With Us. Despite the rumors, insiders confirm that Taylor Swift had no creative involvement in the film. She was neither a producer nor connected to its production.

Swift and Blake Lively have been close friends since 2015. This led to Lively using My Tears Ricochet in the film’s trailer with Swift’s permission. However, sources say Taylor Swift never watched the movie before it was released in theaters and was busy with her Eras Tour, performing across multiple continents from March 2023 to December 2024.

Legal Dispute Between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

The legal case took a dramatic turn when Blake Lively accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and fostering a hostile work environment. She filed a lawsuit against him in December 2024, claiming that he tried to launch a campaign to damage her reputation.

In response, Baldoni denied all charges and filed two lawsuits of his own. He first sued The New York Times for defamation, seeking $250 million in damages. Later, he filed another separate lawsuit for $400 million against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane.

Taylor Swift’s Stance on the Controversy

Despite being dragged into the case, sources insist that Taylor Swift has no role in the legal dispute. Insiders state that bringing Swift into the situation misrepresents the facts, as she was occupied with her tour at the time.

While Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni prepare for the upcoming trial, it remains unclear if Swift will be deposed. However, those close to her emphasize that the case is a legal matter for the courts to handle, and involving Swift is unnecessary.
